1 to 1 Course: Intensive GCSE/A Level Support (6 hours) £210

Suitable for GCSE and A Level students

I have taught GCSE and A level students for many years now, so I know what is required from the examiners to get the best grade. This course is designed to get students out of their comfort zone, expand on their existing ideas, to get a fresh perspective and to work out a plan of action to fulfil the assessment objectives to their fullest potential. A gallery visit is included to get first hand observations, to engage with your ideas.

 Part 1

you will get a tailored tutorial, in which together we will discuss and work out a plan, surrounding your ideas. We will then walk to a suitable art gallery to make relevant first hand observations and drawings form artworks.

Part 2

You will continue to build on your plan of ideas, looking specifically at other artists and resources linked to your idea. You will then have time to respond to your ideas visually using a range of high quality materials that will be provided. In the studio you will be taught several techniques on how to work like your linked artists. You will experiment with composition, drawing, colour mixing and technique. We will reflect on what you've done so far and together we will plan the next few steps for you to work on independently.

 What will I need?

All materials are provided but please bring in any work done so far on the project that you are working on.
