Suitable for beginners

Watercolour is such a versatile paint medium with so many techniques you can achieve with it, yet it has its rules! Students can really get to know how it works to achieve a variety of exciting results.  

 Part 1

In the studio, I will begin this class by demonstrating a variety of watercolour painting techniques, you will practice using the finest equipment, paper and paints. You will focus on colour mixing, techniques and drawing. 

Part 2

In the studio, you will decide on your choice of subject matter to paint a refined composition. You will be building in gradual detail to develop and understand depth. When complete, you will go home with a wonderful finished painting and a brain full of new skills.

 What will I need?

Some people prefer to bring their own sketchbook. No need to bring anything else as all materials are provided.
